I am in the middle of two doctors each making medication changes each week because my condition is good one week and changed the next week. It would be.nice is both doctors would communicate on my condition. I visited both doctors in the same week, and one accused me of not knowing what I was taking as far as medication. Accused me of not saying the correct information. I do not feel comfortable in my visits.

Dr Baranano is the best!! She gives very thorough eye exams and even questions physical conditions that may contribute to my vision problems. She has saved my vision more than once and is so caring and interested in me as a person. I would and have recommended her to people I know who may need her expertise.

She later completed her residency and fellowship at Doheny Eye Institute, University of Southern California. She is an active researcher and has published a study on the use of Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) for patients with age-related macular degeneration. She has a special interest in uveitis and complex vitreoretinal surgery such as diabetic retinal detachments. Dr. Barañano received first place recognition as the “Best in Eye Surgery” in the Sun Herald’s 2023 Best of Coastal Mississippi Awards.
