Anna Kupcha, MD

Dr. Anna Kupcha is a board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced fellowship training in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery. She has a passion for helping patients feel and see their best by treating conditions that affect the eyelids, orbit, and tear system.

Her expertise includes eyelid surgery for drooping or malpositioned lids in adults and children, treatment of blocked tear ducts, removal and reconstruction after skin cancer, and care for orbital disease such as Thyroid Eye Disease. She also offers cosmetic eyelid procedures, such as blepharoplasty and BOTOX® injections, for patients who wish to refresh and enhance the appearance of their eyes.

Dr. Kupcha earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed residency training in both internal medicine and ophthalmology before pursuing a highly specialized fellowship in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery at the Vanderbilt Eye Institute. She is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is an active member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Kupcha loves spending time with her husband and daughter. Together they enjoy the beauty of Durango and the Four Corners region—rafting the rivers, biking the trails, and skiing. She also enjoys singing with the Animas Jazz Band and continuing her music education at Stillwater Music.
