Ann Igoe, M.D.

Dr. Ann Igoe is a board-certified rheumatologist and internal medicine specialist with a strong foundation in clinical care, medical education, and groundbreaking research. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree with Cum Laude honors from the University of Pécs, Hungary, and completed her postdoctoral research training at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. During this time, she focused on advancing the understanding of autoimmune and rheumatic diseases, laying the groundwork for her ongoing contributions to the field. Dr. Igoe completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and a Rheumatology Fellowship at Case Western Reserve University's MetroHealth Medical Center. She has since built an impressive career with clinical roles at OhioHealth, Troy Medical. She also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Creighton University School of Medicine, where she mentors the next generation of medical professionals.

An accomplished researcher, Dr. Igoe has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters focusing on autoimmune diseases such as lupus, Sjögren’s syndrome, and vasculitis. Her work has been featured in high-impact journals, and she is actively engaged in peer review and collaborative research projects. Her postdoctoral work at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation continues to inform her research and clinical practice. Dr. Igoe is an active member of professional organizations, including the American College of Rheumatology and the European League Against Rheumatism. Her dedication extends to teaching, mentorship, and public advocacy, raising awareness and funds for such organizations as the Arthritis Foundation and the Lupus Foundation.
