Dr Carone is amazing! I was having a very bad day and going through some major life struggles. She immediately picked up on that and took HER time to talk to ME! She went above and beyond to assist me. She is warm and welcoming on a GOOD day, so to gave her be so kind to me was remarkable. She even gave me a hug and that was very much needed and appreciated.

I've had an issue with my eye for a while. Every eye doctor I visited just told me they think it's blood pressure(it isn't i have great blood pressure) and sent me off. She is the first to put effort into diagnosing the issue. I'm very thankful.

Ann worked with active duty military, retired military, and their families sharpening her skills in the areas of ocular disease and therapeutics.
Dr. Carone soon joined a renowned eyecare group in Fairfield County. There she worked closely with the ophthalmologists on preoperative and postoperative care of state of the art surgical procedures. Working with this group for 11 years, she has become an accomplished clinician licensed to prescribe prescription drugs and diagnose and treat ocular conditions, such as Glaucoma. Today at Shoreline Eye Associates, Dr. Carone sees patients for routine care and contact lens fittings. She monitors and treats eye health and see patients for emergencies. She has built a large following of patients in the East Haven location which has grown into a full service eyecare facility. Dr. Ann Carone O.D. and Dr. Howard Distelman M.D. work closely together to provide our patients the specialized care they need and deserve. The Guilford office is fortunate to have her at that location 3-4 times a month for patients who would like to be seen a little closer to their home.
