Dr was on time and spent his traditional five minutes with me. However, upon arrival there was no one at the desk to check me in. Once I was finished with my visit, there was no one at the desk to schedule my next appointment. Some people I knew had been waiting to schedule their next appointment for over 30 minutes. So I left, all in all I was in and out in less than an hour. Office staff may need more people for the front desk.

Dr. Ankur Lodha joined Cardiovascular Institute of the South in 2014 as an interventional cardiologist. He specializes in the management and treatment of cardiovascular and peripheral vascular disease including interventional procedures.
Dr. Lodha earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Bangalore Medical College in India. He completed his general cardiology fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York where was given the honor of being named chief resident because of his knowledge, skills, and leadership qualities. He continued his training in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at Allegheny General Hospital where he completed his fellowship in interventional cardiology.
Dr. Lodha is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, and interventional cardiology, and he is a registered physician in vascular interpretation. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He has been a reviewer for many well-known medical journals and has published numerous articles and abstracts. He has also received an award from the Medical Society for the State of New York for his clinical research.
Dr. Lodha performs a variety of interventional procedures ranging from coronary stenting, peripheral, arterial, and venous interventions, including carotid and renal stenting.
