Dr. Lodha earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Bangalore Medical College in India. He completed his general cardiology fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York where was given the honor of being named chief resident because of his knowledge, skills, and leadership qualities. He continued his training in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at Allegheny General Hospital where he completed his fellowship in interventional cardiology.
Dr. Lodha is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, and interventional cardiology, and he is a registered physician in vascular interpretation. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He has been a reviewer for many well-known medical journals and has published numerous articles and abstracts.
