In addition to his extensive medical expertise, Dr. Cammarata has earned multiple military and civilian honors including the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (twice awarded), a Meritorious Unit Commendation, the Navy Expeditionary Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal.
He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Cammarata is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the North Carolina Orthopedic Association, and the North Carolina and Western NC medical societies.
He specializes in microvascular surgery, treatment of the hands and wrist surgery, and shoulder and elbow surgery.
