Let's be honest...nobody really wants to 'need a GI Specialist'... But if you do? Dr.Thanjan and his entire team are consummate professionals. I underwent an 'exploratory colonoscopy' to investigate abdominal pain, and had a number of polyps removed. The very next day I feel far, far better, and (thanks to a fine job by the anesthesiologist), I don't remember much about it at all. Manu thanks to them all!

Dr Thanjan is a great doctor and has a wonderful bedside manner. He takes time to really talk with you about everything and provide answers to all your questions. He does not rush you and wants to make sure you leave out educated and next steps if necessary. I highly recommend him.

First meeting was not rushed, he asked questions and listened to the answers without being distracted by writing down my responses. He explained up front that he was using voice activated scribe for documentation. I felt like I was heard and left with a plan to address my issues.

Seemed söightly dismissive of patient experience and input pre-proceedure and wanted to diminish the frequency of care his predecessor, Dr. Semen had established but acceeded to that posture after noting findings. Did not converse directly with me after the proceedure but rather with my son, who was there only as a driver and is not involved in my care, so I was unable to pose questions about findings.

I really appreciated the doctor’s detailed explanations, and the fact that he actually listened to what I was saying. I think that is a very important skill for a doctor to possess. It has to be difficult indulging patients with zero medical training, but I know how I feel, and I feel it is another way for the doctor to make a good diagnosis and treatment plan.
