Dr. Andy Kranenburg is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgery. He attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, completed his residency at the Oregon Health and Science University and was fellowship-trained through the San Francisco Spine Institute. He also serves as co-Medical Director of the Providence Medford Medical Center Spine Institute.
"I grew up in Southern Oregon and wanted to return to raise my family. I had some injuries when I was younger and it inspired me to help other people who were hurt."
Dr. Kranenburg loves living in Southern Oregon and appreciates the quality of life available outside of the operating room. He coaches multiple youth sports and was the YMCA Volunteer of the Year in 2013.

He is amazing. He’s kind, explains everything I asked and the best 2 things are that he is honest and a straight shooter, tells it like it is. I admire honesty and his incredible talent.

Extremely professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. Highly recommended. I had an SI joint fusion and was pain free and running a 10k within a few months thanks to Dr Kranenburg and his excellent team!
I have nothing but praise for Dr. Kranenburg. He listens well and I felt cared about. I’m so grateful he saw the need to help me. My only criticism is I don’t feel like my pain was well managed before I was sent home after surgery, but that’s not on Dr. Kranenburg. The nurses were great at the surgery center, but I felt a bit rushed to leave.

Dr Kranenburg has been not only a highly professional and skilled surgeon through out my past 4 spinal fusion surgeries, but a caring friend as well. I am grateful to be moving forward from debilitating pain to living a more comfortable life. Dr Kranenburg has always been straight forward, compassionate and kind. He is a rare jewel , and I am blessed because of his dedication and care. !!!
