The reason for a not so great rating is the long wait time. When I poked my head out and asked as to when I was actually going to see the doctor, he's sitting at a nursing station shooting the breeze with them. My appointment shouldn't take over an hour for a quick consultation. My time is valuable to me at least.

After years of living with a severely injured back, I finally made an appointment with Dr. Kranenburg. Best decision of my life! Three months after my disc replacement surgery I am able to golf again. Better yet, I can completely stand upright and have zero back pain. Dr. Kranenburg is an excellent doctor and surgeon. I do wish they would space their office visits better, as a wait time of more than an hour past my appointment time seems to be the norm, which is somewhat aggravating.

So easy to talk to. Explains the treatment plans well. Very clear on next steps.

After waiting weeks to see Dr. Kranenburg and getting an additional M.R.I. , I went to the consultation for my procedure only to have my hopes dashed! He said that my M.R.I. readings had changed and that my condition wasn't severe enough to warrant surgery. Yet my back STILL hurts like blue blazes! Nothing has changed THERE! I still am in pain and my nerve is STILL pinched! The only thing that has changed is his willingness to perform the necessary surgery on my back that will rid me of pain!

Knew from my symptoms just where to look for the problem and give me a diagnosis. Explained very well how it should be treated and thankfully no surgery needed. I came over from Brookings and I should have called him much sooner. It would have saved me much pain and suffering as no one here could find the problem. I left the office feeling so positive yesterday. So very grateful for this educated , compassionate, and skilled doctor.

Dr. Kranenburg is in a very small league of doctors that actually listen to their patients. Very professional and shows a genuine concern for his patients. I don't usually reccomend Doctors unless they show concerns, listen to their patients and say "you know your body better than I do."

Doctor Andy is the first doctor who is actually trying to help me rehabilitate my back. he explained that i would have to lose about 80 pounds to keep the pain at bay after he does the procedure, but I can and will do THAT once I can walk six miles a day like i USED to!
