He subsequently completed his ophthalmology residency and fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery at the USC Roski Eye Institute, earning a “Resident Teaching Award for Clinical Fellow” upon graduation. During his fellowship, he also trained under the esteemed Dr. David Boyer and his surgical colleagues at the Retina-Vitreous Associates of Los Angeles. Dr. Han has published several research articles in ophthalmology journals and has presented his findings at national conferences. He is proficient in medical Spanish and is currently spending time after work improving his Korean.
