I am an active 55 year old female. After injuring my hip last year, I was having persistent pain that affected every aspect of my mobility. I tried PT, medication and injections but nothing helped. Imaging showed an extensive labral tear and moderate-to-severe arthritis. I thought a replacement was my only option. Then I learned of a new procedure Dr.Wolff was successfully performing called a labral reconstruction. During my consult, he told me he was confident it would restore my hip function and allow me to resume my activities and lifestyle without possible side effects of a replacement. I knew the recovery would be longer, but it was the best option in the long run. Immediately after my surgery, I had no pain and my joint felt secure and stable. At 6 weeks I was walking pain-free without crutches and at 9 weeks I flew home to Canada. It was absolutely the right decision. If you are trying to decide if reconstruction is right for you, trust in Dr. Wolff.

Truly exceptional in every way. Most importantly I had an amazing outcome. Labrum reconstruction totally resolved my problem. I had almost no pain after surgery, rehab protocols were incredibly detailed and helpful. And on top of all that, Dr Wolff is one of the most personable and caring docs I’ve ever worked with. His explanations were clear, on point and easy to understand. Always willing to take time to listen and really paid attention to concerns. Would highly recommend him to anyone. I came to Dr. Wolff for a second opinion on my hip pain/arthritis. He came recommended by a friend who had surgery with him to correct FAI. I wanted to see if I was a candidate for this after my current ortho told me my options were pain management or hip replacement. This has been very emotional for me because I’m only 42 and extremely active in sports and athletic endeavors and Dr. Wolff was extremely kind, empathetic, and helpful. Although I do have FAI, I am not a candidate for the type of surgery that he does because of how bad the arthritis is. Yet, he still took the time to answer my questions, prescribe medication, and help me with a short term plan to go back to my ortho with. Thank you, Dr. Wolff!

Dr. Wolff was very kind and knowledgeable. He was also a good listener about how my underlying medical history (MS) would/ would not affect the recovery for my torn labrum repair. He will do my surgery.

Dr. Wolff was wonderful. He took a great deal of time examining me and asking questions. He has an exceptional bedside manner and is truly interested in providing the best care for his patients. He explained all of my options in a clear concise manner and takes a “one step at a time” approach which is much appreciated as many surgeons jump to surgery. His PA Grey is fantastic as well. She gave me a cortisone shot in my hip that was virtually painless.

I went to five doctors before I found Dr Wolff and his team. I was so tired of still being in pain and being told it was as simple as stretching or pushing through the pain… 9 months later I completed surgery with Dr Wolff and I was pain free the moment I woke up from surgery. His team had the most patience with my questions and he even went as far as hiding my stitches and potential scars in hidden parts of my tattoos to not ruin the artwork. I couldn’t say a bad thing about the entire experience between consultation to surgery and post op. Truly the most amazing experience I’ve had with a doctor and I hope more people find relief with him. He’s worth the travel and cost.

Very knowledgeable; answered my questions; suggested an injection for diagnostic purposes. The practice is super busy so the wait time was a little long.

Dr. Wolff is the best. I am 3 months out from my surgery and I feel like a new person who got her life back. I am back to almost all regular activity and I have healed much faster and better than I expected. I went from being in chronic pain for 9 years to now feeling like nothing ever happened to me. Dr. Wolff took his time in my post-op appointment to thoroughly check me over and answer any questions, in addition to being on board with my accelerated healing and return-to-activity protocol. I am thankful for Dr. Wolff and his expertise. I had a 9-year old hip injury from running and sports that no other orthopedic surgeon was able to properly diagnose for me. After almost a decade in chronic pain and limited mobility, Dr. Wolff was able to quickly and accurately diagnose my issues, and I had surgery soon after with great success. I am one month post-op and feel better already. There are not enough words for how amazing and attentive his staff is and I would not recommend anyone else other than Dr. Wolff.

Appointment went well, but they are NEVER on time. Not considerate for the patients time. I don't mind waiting a little bit, but always 30-45 min late.

Dr. Wolff is great. In the last year he has operated on both my hips. He has been honest about the recovery and timeline. He has always spent the needed time with me during every appointment. I feel strongly that my hips will fully heal within the year and I'll be back to competing.

Dr. Wolff took his time explaining everything that was going on with me. He answered all my questions. He also plotted a course of action to stack my two surgeries with the intention of a strong recovery but also trying to reduce the amount of time off from sports. Only a few weeks into first surgery and I am amazed at how well my hip seems to be doing.
