Andrew T. Lawrence, MD, FHRS

Dr. Andrew Lawrence, M.D., is a board-certified cardiac electrophysiologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders. He has extensive experience in the management of atrial fibrillation, cardiac arrhythmias, pacemakers, and implantable cardiac devices.

Dr. Lawrence earned both his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Science degrees from Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School. He completed his internal medicine residency at Georgetown University Hospital, where he also served an additional year as Chief Resident and Clinical Instructor, before pursuing fellowships in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology at Rush University Medical Center. He previously served as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Rush University Medical Center and has been actively involved in physician education and clinical research throughout his career. Dr. Lawrence is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society.
