Dr. Andrew Staiger specializes in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery. He spent 5 minutes with me, said I should have a cortisone injection but couldn't possibly do it today...had to be scheduled another day. They take a few minutes but he wanted me to continue to suffer I guess. VERY UNHAPPY!!!
Listened to my concerns & questions. Laughed w/me & gave me straight answers.

Staiger is open to questions. He is understandable. He knows what needs to be done and stands by his work. I have no issues/concerns with my surgery. Healing up great.
His assistants and himself have an excellent and calming manner. They listened to me about what I needed to continue working, and not wanting surgery.

I have, over many yrs, seen lots of orthopedic Drs. I have never found one that spoke “Patient” or had a bed side manner that made me believe they really heard me or cared to hear me. This one is totally committed to his training and his patients.
Dr. Staiger and his staff were very thorough in evaluating what needs to be done regarding the arthritis in my right hand. They explained my options moving forward and how to proceed. All were very professional!!
