Dr. Andrew Mulder is a board-certified hip and knee surgeon specializing in primary and complex revision hip and knee replacement surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota, completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Detroit Medical Center in 2012, and completed a fellowship in hip and knee replacement surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio in 2013. Understanding that each patient is unique, Dr. Mulder uses a personalized approach to hip and knee replacement surgery utilizing minimally-invasive muscle-sparing techniques, computer navigation, and robotic assistance when appropriate. Dr. Mulder is the author of multiple hip and knee-related publications and is an active member in the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS).

Dr. Mulder was very friendly, thorough, and personable.
I came in to discuss knee replacement surgery on my left knee and to have the pain in my groin evaluated on my left leg. Dr Mulder’s PA ordered an X-ray of my right hip from which he concluded hip replacement on my right leg might be more imminent than knee replacement on my left leg. After determining the poor condition of my right hip, Dr. Mulder didn’t see me, and no X-ray was ordered of my left knee to provide updated information on its condition.
He is an excellent doctor. Shows interest in all health issues.
I have had complete trust in his surgical skills and healed quickly with each of my two knee replacements. He’s professional and easy to talk to. Both of his PA’s are wonderful.
