This was my first visit with Dr. Minkley. He had a great “bedside manner” and I felt he took the time to really listen and understand my concerns.

Dr Minkley performed an EMG study. He explained the test and results thoroughly. He, also, answred all my questions and made suggestions on how to move forward.
On time. Knowledgeable and attentive -not rushed. He gave me a realistic expectation for the future of my herniated disc. He diagnosed me based on my symptom description which I appreciated. He gave me a referral for an X-ray knowing that if my treatment plan doesn’t provide relief, I will need the X-ray first before the MRI which is what I will need. The other spine place that I called required an mri before even getting an appointment. That’s not what you want to hear when you’ve got acute pain that you want to diagnose asap. I hot what I went for, confirmation of my diagnosis, medication options, pt referral and advice on alternatives like chiro and acupuncture.
Great communication and a great caring attitude. I wish all my doctors were like him.
