Dr. Andrew Mikeska is a Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in conditions of the spine. Dr. Mikeska completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Baylor University. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating second in his class with a pre-clinical GPA of 4.00. While in medical school, he was an Honor Society Member for four years and on the Dean’s List. Dr. Mikeska received his residency training at the Texas Tech University Health Science Center’s Department of Orthopedic Surgery. Shortly following, he completed his Orthopedic Spine Fellowship at the Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Mikeska’s specialization includes spine surgery for a broad spectrum of spinal disorders, including degenerative, deformity, trauma, and tumor cases from the occiput (the back of the head or skull) to the sacrum (triangular bone at the base of the spine).
