I saw Dr. McMahon for an ultrasound guided cortisone injection. 5 months after a total knee replacement , I was still experiencing tightness and discomfort. Within 24 hours I was getting relief! Now two days later it is so much better!! I am very happy. Also he was pleasant and interesting to chat with.

The ultra sound guided joint knee injections were more comfortable and Andrew did an amazing job of explaining step by step!! Highly recommended

I’ve experienced Dr McMahon on several needed Occasions now. I have found him to be consistently professional, medically informed as to best practices, – and appropriately personable in a non-objectifying manner. Patients are Not always pleasant to be with due to the context of the reason for them receiving treatment to begin with. I am aware I can be one of those patients at least for a moment or two. I never experienced any kind of behavioral cue that would speak to judgment.

Absolutely the best. Always clear and helpful info; excellent diagnostician; superb technical skills. Recently had 4 fractured vertebrae untreated for 3+ weeks (first available appointment 4 weeks out) he immediately called appropriate doc; days later I had appointment. Four years ago, on just entering the room he realized I was not at all myself (severe depression). I’ve Rarely experienced this level of skill quickly & professionally acknowledge my state of mind, addressed major contributor (was denied needed hip replacement). Both were resolved with immediate calls to PCP and hip doc. Each time I was there for ongoing knee injections.

I have to say thank you for not just being a phenomenal orthopedic doctor but as I have some mental illness sadly I'm generally treated like a child with many health care professionals When seen and treated by Dr. McMahon I was very kindly, thoughtfully and most importantly respectfully cared for in every aspect of my visit to his office. One more thing that may help others who may be afraid of injections,...I had both knees injected and barely knew that it even had occurred! Extremely happy to be getting treated by such an exceptional doctor!! Thanks again! Oh and my knees are pain free by the way!!!

Expert injection of cortisone shot with ultrasound visualization. Only minimal discomfort from the injection of lidocaine to numb the surface of the skin. Then only slight pressure with the cortisone injection to my hip. His kind and caring and very manner put me at ease and I definitely recommend him to my friends and family.

Had a couple tears in some shoulder tendons. Dr. McMahon located them quickly with the imaging and made the repairs then and there. It's two days later and I'm noticing significant improvement.
