With specialty training in upper extremity, his primary interests include anatomic shoulder replacements, reverse shoulder replacements, and revision shoulder procedures. Additionally, he has a keen interest in patient-specific planning for shoulder replacement surgery. Using a preoperative 3D CT scan, Dr. Malarkey can individualize each patient’s care with a custom guide prior to even entering the operating room. He believes this provides the best outcomes for patients. Having grown up in the Dayton area, he is very excited to return home. He is honored to join OASWO, and to provide comprehensive upper extremity care to the people of the greater Dayton area.
