He earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York and completed his internship and residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Mass. as well as a clinical fellowship in medicine at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Korson has advanced training in interventional endoscopy as well as pancreatic and biliary endoscopy. Throughout his career, he has obtained prestigious honors, including election into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society, a recipient of the Harvard Medical School Excellence in Tutoring Award and was awarded with the University of Colorado Travel Grant among many other honors.
Prior to joining RMG, Dr. Korson was the Clinical Fellow in Gastroenterology at the University of Washington in Seattle, Wash.

After having my procedure, I had to have a nebulizer treatment because during my treatment I guess I had vomited and they were worried that some of the vomit got into my lungs, I came home and started having very bad chills and then proceeded to vomit up blood and I had a terrible terrible headache, I tried calling the office but I got no response I left a message But never got a return call!

Dr. Korson was so kind, friendly, incredibly generous with his time, listened attentively to me, and is such a brilliant doctor! I have had a “mystery illness” for over a year, and have seen so many other doctors who were unable to diagnose me or even give me a path forward. Dr. Korson has been the first one to actually suggest what might be wrong with me, and to recommend a plan of action! He also upgraded me to a much more effective medication to replace one that I had been on for years. Dr. Korson is quite simply THE BEST!!!!
