I left not being sure how serious I was taken. I had an MRI taken of each shoulder, showing a torn infra and super spinatus which I thought might be related to my upper thoracic scoliosis. One surgeon offered to repair my infraspinatus, but I denied it in 2012 or 2013.
So my questions are left unanswered… I actually had a few others to try to get the recommendation of someone who I thought would be helpful with who I might take my questions too. As an athlete, I have only encountered someone who took me as a patient, seriously, and did not lump me into either an overweight or aged category
