Dr. Andrew Gilmartin, M.D., is a dedicated physician who thrives on helping people live longer, healthier lives. He specializes in Family Medicine, Home Care, and Internal Medicine. From a young age, inspired by his mother who was a physician assistant, he was interested in science and how the body works. He became the first doctor in his family. He chose internal medicine because of the variety, comparing the detective work of making a correct diagnosis to "solving a puzzle."
He earned his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He then completed both his internship and residency at St. Francis Medical School.
Patients tell him that they appreciate his detailed, easy-to-understand explanations. “An educated patient is a compliant patient,” says Dr. Gilmartin. “My goal is to help them understand their condition so that they can partner in their treatment.”
Dr. Gilmartin is a partner at Changebridge. When he is not working, Dr. Gilmartin enjoys spending time with his family. During the summer, you can find him sailing competitively with the Hunterdon Sailing Club out of the Spruce Run Reservoir in Clinton, NJ.
