I feel very lucky to have had Dr. Garber do a knee revision. From my very first appointment with him he has listened to my complaints and concerns. He took the time to address each one. My experience the first time around did not even come close. I will forever be grateful for being referred to him.

First appointment with Dr Garber for eventual Left hip replacement surgery. Excellent personality who listened patiently as 82 year old male explained my previous joint replacement procedures, other medical issues and concerns, and details of current robotic assisted surgery. Also took time to confer with PA to administer cortisone shot at time of appointment so I would not have to make separate appointment day.

Extremely compassionate and takes the time to know you as an individual and answer any and all questions. These days it’s very rare to have a doctor that remembers you personally and not just as a number

Dr . Garber takes the time to listen and explains things so they are easily understood. Never rushes with appointments.
Dr. Andrew Garber was drawn to orthopedic surgery because it enables him to improve peoples’ quality of life.
“In my third year of residency I did my hip and knee replacement rotation and was able to see how much and for how long patients struggle. After doing the hip and knee replacements you see how much improvement they have. It’s very rewarding to know that I’ve been able to help them improve their quality of life.”
As much as a joint replacement can help a patient, Dr Garber understands that each patient needs to make their own decisions about their treatment.
“As much as I love surgery, I understand that it’s always the patient’s choice as far as what’s to be done and when it’s to be done. I really focus on the fact that it is their decision.”
