Dr. Andrew Garber is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in hip, knee, and joint replacement surgery.
Dr. Andrew Garber was drawn to orthopedic surgery because it enables him to improve peoples’ quality of life.
“In my third year of residency I did my hip and knee replacement rotation and was able to see how much and for how long patients struggle. After doing the hip and knee replacements you see how much improvement they have. It’s very rewarding to know that I’ve been able to help them improve their quality of life.”
As much as a joint replacement can help a patient, Dr Garber understands that each patient needs to make their own decisions about their treatment.
“As much as I love surgery, I understand that it’s always the patient’s choice as far as what’s to be done and when it’s to be done. I really focus on the fact that it is their decision.”

Very professional and personable.
He really was concerned for me during a very scary/sick time.
Exceptional surgeon with the nicest personality and care for his patients….
Dr. Garber takes time with you and answers even the smallest questions you may have. I've had a knee replacement and hip replacement by him and I would recommend him to anyone who asks! Great doctor and a great guy.
I am one of those unfortunate people who has had an original knee replacement go bad (infection and loose prostheses). I was referred to Dr. Garber for revision knee surgery, and although the two stage surgical process has been long and drawn out, I couldn’t be happier with Dr. Garber‘s treatment or his bedside manner. He’s a straight shooter, but also takes time to carefully explain procedures and risks. Even more importantly, he never seems in a hurry to get onto the next room or patient. He answers all questions and actually looks me in the eye when we are talking, which makes me feel like “seen” as a person versus just another patient.
