I hold my health and well being with this Dr. she takes care of my mother and sister as well and I can not say enough about how wonderful she is and how she treats each of her patients as most important to her. You often have to wait to see her but she is always well worth the wait time!!

Yesterday was my first visit with Dr. White and it went very well she was nice she very engaged my appointment went very well she made me feel comfortable if you’re looking for a Doctor go to Dr. White you will not be disappointed.

Dr White is the only doctor who has ever actually discussed with me the responses to the extensive questions regarding medical and family history that are filled out with new patient paperwork. Then she asked great questions about my physical and mental health and gave me recommendations and a plan going forward. I finally feel like I have found a doctor that will take care of me, and not just do a cursory exam and prescribe another medication.
Dr. Andrea R. White is a native of Virginia. She attended the University of Virginia, where she was an Echols Scholar and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. Following college, she moved to Spain where she lived for nearly eight years and graduated from medical school at the Universidad de Oviedo Facultad de Medicine.
She returned to the United States in 2001 and did an Internal Medicine residency through the University of Virginia/Roanoke-Salem program. She subsequently completed a two-year Geriatrics and Palliative Care fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, followed by a post-doctoral research year. She transitioned into private practice doing sub-acute rehabilitation medicine and hospice medical director work, followed by hospital work and outpatient practice through SeniorCare Geriatrics. She joined Internal Medicine Specialists in January of 2014 and has enjoyed returning to general internal medicine where she takes care of all age groups.
Dr. White is married, has two children and two dogs. She loves animals, enjoys the mountains and the ocean, and likes to garden and cook. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
