Dr. Ballester, is the BEST DOCTOR THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN. She cares so much about her patients. I just wish that she wasn’t rushed when seeing her patients. Due to some patients having more issues than others and needing more time. She’s is AMAZING, AWESOME JUST GREAT. I JUST LOVE HER.

Dr. Ana Ballester-Fiallo, a native of Puerto Rico, moved to San Antonio in 1987. She earned her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and went on to continue her residency at the University District Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Dr. Ballester served in the Armed Forces (Army) during Desert Storm 1989-1993. Dr. Ballester-Fiallo completed a Fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Puerto Rico and University District Hospital. She also received a Fellowship in Clinical Immunology from the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio.
Dr. Ballester-Fiallo is Board Certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. She was also an Instructor of Medicine at the University of Puerto Rico and UT Health Science Center in San Antonio. She joined Gonzaba Medical Group as a Rheumatology Specialist in 2014.
Dr. Ballester-Fiallo is fluent in English and Spanish.
