Exceptional patient care. Professional. Read all my medical file . Was aware of my medical diagnosis and made sure to order necessary diagnostic tests to assure my medical diagnosis’s are being treated appropriately. Super friendly, polite . Made me feel like she has known me for a long time. Genuine patient care.

Dr. Ana Ballester-Fiallo, a native of Puerto Rico, moved to San Antonio in 1987. She earned her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and went on to continue her residency at the University District Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Dr. Ballester served in the Armed Forces (Army) during Desert Storm 1989-1993. Dr. Ballester-Fiallo completed a Fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Puerto Rico and University District Hospital. She also received a Fellowship in Clinical Immunology from the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio.
Dr. Ballester-Fiallo is Board Certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. She was also an Instructor of Medicine at the University of Puerto Rico and UT Health Science Center in San Antonio. She joined Gonzaba Medical Group as a Rheumatology Specialist in 2014.
Dr. Ballester-Fiallo is fluent in English and Spanish.
