Amir H. Qureshi, M.D.

Dr. Amir Qureshi is originally from Massachusetts, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College. He furthered his education with completion of the Health Careers Program at Harvard University and a Master’s Degree in Medical Sciences at the Boston University School of Medicine. He then attended medical school at the University of Miami, during which time he discovered his passion for orthopaedics.

Following medical school, he completed his residency at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, a busy level one trauma center. He then pursued an additional year of fellowship training in orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, learning from past and present innovators in the field.

He has published numerous scientific articles and presented at various meetings across orthopaedic subspecialties. He directly took part in the teaching and oversight of junior residents, serving as Chief Resident his final year of training. He ultimately chose to pursue a career in orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery because he is fascinated by the biomechanics of the field, and is motivated by the prospect of helping patients maintain their active Florida lifestyles using the most innovative and minimally invasive techniques available.

In his spare time, Dr. Qureshi enjoys all things outdoors and spending time with his family. He is an avid sneaker collector and a sports enthusiast. He is currently welcoming patients in the Cape Coral, Fort Myers and Naples offices.
