Amberly R. Orr, M.D., provides advanced pain management procedures for patients suffering from acute and chronic conditions. Her expertise includes ultrasound and fluoroscopic-guided injections, radiofrequency ablations, spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation and Intracept.
Dr. Orr earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin, her Master of Science in Molecular Biology from Johns Hopkins University, and her Doctor of Medicine from McGovern Medical School at UT Health in Houston. Upon graduation, she did a transitional year internship at Dell Medical School at UT Austin, and both her anesthesiology residency and pain management fellowship at University of Chicago Medical Center.
Dr. Orr joined the interventional pain management team at EmergeOrtho – Coastal Region in December of 2025. Prior to that, she was part of the medical staff at Carolinas Pain Center in Charlotte and served as Chief Fellow at the University of Chicago Medical Center during her training.
She has significant experience in teaching and leadership positions, as well as having contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, abstracts and professional presentations.
