I love Dr alleyn! She is very kind and compassionate and really hears my concerns as being a woman in my 50s. I’m so glad she is my doctor and trust her completely. I wish I would’ve known about her 25 years ago when I started seeing a gynecologist. I recommend her to all women. She is a doll.

Dr. Amanda Lemoine Alleyn, M.D. is a native of Avoyelles Parish. She and her husband, Ed, have two children, William and Caroline. They are delighted to have settled in Lafayette where they love experimenting with new recipes, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying local music and events.

During her training she participated in both routine and high risk obstetrical and gynecological care, obtaining thorough knowledge and practice in minimally invasive surgical technique. She currently serves as the Chairperson of the Department of Women’s Services at Lafayette General Medical Center. Dr. Alleyn is also a board member for Maddie’s Footprints, a local nonprofit organization that provides emotional and financial support for families who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss.
