He was appointed as the Director of the new Cardiac Cath Lab at Northside Forsyth Hospital. Dr. Kakkar pioneered coronary angioplasty and stenting procedures at the Northside Forsyth Hospital and Northside Cherokee Hospital.
Dr. Kakkar is married with three children. He enjoys participating in community functions, traveling, and spending time with his family.
