Dr DeComas is incredible. We received multiple opinions for a surgery for my 7yo daughter. Dr DeComas was thorough in her review. She explained the images in detail but in a way that we could understand what we were looking at (and for), helping us to make an informed decision about the best path of care… but the most important part is that she included my 7yo in the discussion. My daughter is old enough to understand that something is going on and while other doctors focused on explaining her condition to us, Dr DeComas also made sure my daughter was acknowledged in the room as the primary patient.
