I first met Dr Deas over 11 years ago. She did my left knee replacement. After a severe car accident, I wanted an opinion as to how my right knee replacement was impacted. She gave me the guidance I needed and has the same. Kindness and professionalism as she did way back then. I would highly recommend her to everyone.

Dr. DeComas was only surgeon who’d take My surgery And wasn’t intimidated by all my other medical conditions or my history .. super thankful for her work. no issues and now a month after the surgery I have to think about which arm is the “bad “ one or one I had the surgery on… couldn’t be happier with the outcome and her work… would definitely recommend Dr. DeComas.. I’m back to normal , good as new in less than 2 weeks ..

Dr Tacoma is such an amazing and talented physician. I know it sounds crazy, but I am anticipated each time I had to go in for my hip replacement surgery, because I know that I would be up and about within a few days because of her attention to detail and expertise. Amazing young lady!

Dr. DeComas takes the time to answer all my questions-I never feel rushed through. She performed the surgery on my left knee a few years ago and now my right knee is giving me some problems. If I need surgery, Dr. DeComas is the only doctor I would consider.

The wait was a little long, for which she apologized, and she was vary personable and efficient

Scheduled with this provider. First time patient at this office and did not see this doctor. I was told after I was in the room that Dr. had a fellow that would see me. This information should be communicated prior to the appointment so patient can decide if they want to see an intering doctor. Dr. never made an appearance in the room. I was charged for a specialist appointment but did not see the specailist.

Always does not have time to see her patients never checked on them or even call them to see how they did after surgery. The hip surgery was not performed as it should be and my mom ended up with a leg that is shorter than the other I don’t recommend this docter at all

Dr. DeComas is a caring professional and I could not be more pleased with the outcome of my surgery and the pre and post care I was given.

She attempted to dissuade me from undergoing surgery to remove a painful tumor by highlighting potential risks and complications. Her lack of empathy and compassion for her patients was evident as she continued to express concerns despite my reassurance that I understood the risks, having undergone similar procedures before. Her persistent attempts to instill fear and doubt in me left me feeling uneasy and ultimately led me to seek a different surgeon for my surgery. I have been dealing with these tumors since childhood and am well-informed about my condition, yet she failed to listen to my concerns and experiences, which is concerning.

Dr DeComas took amazing care of my 11 yr old son. As soon as she knew he had a mass in his upper femur she immediately got us in for an appointment and quickly scheduled him for a biopsy. She found out that my son had a giant cell tumor. 12 days later he was scheduled to have the bone tumor removed and bone grafting done. We literally found this bone tumor on Feb 1st on xray and it was removed on March 1st. Dr. DeComas was amazing in every way.

I couldn't have asked for a more qualified, caring, and capable doctor. Dr. DeComas as an ensemble of professionals that are all on the same page. Her PAs, Tasha and Melissa are hands-on assistants that are with Dr. DeComas in the operating room. All questions are answered. This is written 10 days post-surgery for TKR. I am getting my gait back. I will have my 2 wk follow-up next week and fully expect planning for other knee replacement. Dr. DeComas is also a teaching Dr. There is a Resident that is there. Dr. DeComas knows the best ones. I had no issues with the Resident as part of the Surgigal Team. It should be noted Dr. DeComas is well experienced in Oncology in her Specialty. GREAT DOCTOR, GREAT STAFF, GREAT OUTCOMES!!

Apparently she had two interns crowding her time, frazzled, brusk, heavy hand, knew the options, inject or therapy for tendon,which do I want, anything else? next.... I can take it from here knowing what it is. What does stretching have to do with inflamed?

Today’s follow-up visit 7 weeks post Revision knee surgery with Dr De Comas was the best visit I have had with The Core Institute since my surgery. I felt she fully listened to me and compassionately addressed my pain and recovery status concerns. She is an in demand surgeon with a substantial support team but when you get her attention - she is there for you.

She discussed my condition with her trainees. Notwith my son or mysself. Itbwss as if we were too stupid to understand! She explained about a biopsy bring done with a radiologist as the next step.she ordered stat,.but that means notthing!

Dr DeComas, is pleasurable and personable. She takes the time to see and hear her patients. Also, my hip and my life has change I'm thankful for Dr. DeComas and her skills.

Amalia and her staff are incredibly busy, but she NEVER makes me feel like I’m taking up her time. She also “gets” what I’m saying or asking. She makes eye contact and absorbs what you’re saying to insure you’re both on the same page. Such a rare quality and so very much appreciated! To her I’m a person, an individual, again I thank her for that. She answers my every question with knowledge, care and compassion which quells any anxiety I might have. Don’t let her ever get away!!! The “CORE” truly needs to treat her and her staff to something special!!!!!BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY SPECIAL AND DO THE “CORE JUSTICE”!!!
