Dr. Alyssa Huncken, M.D., is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed her residency at Atlantic Health Overlook Family Medicine program, where she received the Anthony F. Coppola MD Clinical Excellence Award.

Dr. Alyssa Huncken, M.D., is a Montville native who is delighted to have returned home to practice medicine within her hometown community. As a lifelong patient of Dr. Arnold Pallay, she is thrilled to now be working alongside the same physicians she admired while growing up.
Dr. Huncken is a graduate of Montville High School who earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Fordham University. She attended the Columbia University Post-Baccalaureate Premedical Program, where she developed her mission to serving others. Dr. Huncken returned to New Jersey to receive her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed her residency at the Atlantic Health Overlook Family Medicine program. During her residency, she was awarded the Anthony F. Coppola MD Clinical Excellence Award, which is presented to the family medicine resident whose clinical care consistently represents the highest ideals of family medicine.
Dr. Huncken chose family medicine because of the opportunity to see patients as whole individuals over the entirety of their lives and to treat generations of families. She has a special interest in women’s health and pediatric care.
In her spare time, Dr. Huncken enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and two young daughters.
