He’s an awesome doctor/surgeon. He did a replacement knee on the right side on 5/20/2019 and to this day I have absolutely NO issues with it. So now I have e to get my left one done and I have NO doubt about this knee as well. As far a talking to him in person he good he friendly and he’s HONEST and that is a good thing. So as far as his rating he would be 100 out of 10 with 100 being the best. 😊

By far the best doctor I've ever seen, answers all my questions, and makes sure I actually understand what's going on. Dr. Detterline is my favorite Dr and I am glad that he is the one I could count on for both of my knee surgeries.

Kind, patient, professional…takes time explaining options and customizing a care plan that works for you. Dr. Detterline recently successfully repaired a massive tear in my rotator cuff that saved me from having shoulder replacement. Previously he completed a partial knee replacement that has been successful for me as well. I’ll be forever grateful for his care

Many procedures can be performed arthroscopically (through the use of small incisions and a camera instead of large open surgical wounds) which allow for a quicker recovery for many patients.
Dr. Detterline grew up in northwest Indiana just outside Chicago. After completing his orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine training, he moved to Baltimore in 2008. He is an avid tennis player who also enjoys exercising, running, national parks, American history, and spending time with his wife and two young children.
