Dr. Sih is the best! She is a brilliant surgeon who is very up on all the newest medical treatments and surgical options. She is also a very compassionate person with a caring way about her which is so important for a urologist dealing with this 69 year old lady who Parkinson’s.

Intuition is a terrible thing to waste. Dr Sih has been great. I fear I experienced disappointment from her when I described my estimated improvement 3 months since Aquablation as about 20%. I would like it to be more. I hope there’s more to come. I suspect there maybe other things to do to facilitate improvement as my condition went on for so long. Dr Sih could not answer The question of when the VA /Community Care/Tri West consult stops and I go back to the VA for ongoing support starts again. I wasn’t surprised as this is more a back office question. Returning to VA for follow-up and advice as to what we might do to facilitate a better result is slightly worrisome for all the reasons I ended up with Golden Gate now Unio to begin with. I was I think a bit disappointed as well to have Dr Sih say we are done no need to see her again. Mostly do these questions

Dr. Allison Sih, M.D., was born and raised in San Jose, CA, and graduated with honors from USC. She received her medical degree from SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Allison Sih, M.D., completed a general surgery internship and Urology residency at Temple University Hospital and Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia. She then completed a fellowship in reconstructive urology and cancer survivorship with a focus on women’s health at City of Hope in Southern California. She has presented at national conferences and won first-place awards for her research.
