It was the first time I met with Dr. Viray as my customary ophthalmologist was not available. Dr. Viray reviewed my history with me and discussed the results of the exams I just took that day. She was thorough and pleasant and answered my questions. I enjoyed the visit.

I really appreciated Dr. Viray. It was my first time at this practice. She was very thorough which is exactly why I was there. Nothing personal but my former Eye Dr.’s were okay but they rushed you in and out. Questions got quick answers and you were done. I didn’t feel this way at all with Dr. Viray. She was Wonderful and so was your office staff! That means a lot!

Allison K. Viray, O.D. has been a northern New Jersey native her whole life. She graduated with her Bachelor’s in Biology, summa cum laude from Montclair State University. From there she decided to further her education and attended Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where she graduated cum laude and received her doctorate.
Dr. Viray is very passionate about primary eye care and comprehensive exams. She has had extensive training treating and diagnosing a variety of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, uveitis, blepharitis and conjunctivitis.
She also has a comprehensive knowledge of fitting contact lenses including more complicated cases such as multifocals or astigmatism. Dr. Viray thrives on getting to know her patients and likes to really focus on patient education. She is constantly keeping up with new enhancements and research in the ophthalmic field in order to treat her patients to her best knowledge
