Very calm and reassuring. I was very afraid that I had a serious problem based on my symptoms. She quickly came to a diagnosis of dry eye which explained my symptoms and the cure was simple over the counter. She gave a list of best products. The entire staff is also wonderful.

Rushed my visit, cut my question short. Still haven't put my faith in her (Compared to my original doctor since the opening of the Eye Institute)

Allison K. Viray, O.D. has been a northern New Jersey native her whole life. She graduated with her Bachelor’s in Biology, summa cum laude from Montclair State University. From there she decided to further her education and attended Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where she graduated cum laude and received her doctorate.
Dr. Viray is very passionate about primary eye care and comprehensive exams. She has had extensive training treating and diagnosing a variety of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, uveitis, blepharitis and conjunctivitis.
She also has a comprehensive knowledge of fitting contact lenses including more complicated cases such as multifocals or astigmatism. Dr. Viray thrives on getting to know her patients and likes to really focus on patient education. She is constantly keeping up with new enhancements and research in the ophthalmic field in order to treat her patients to her best knowledge
