Dr. Allison Ariniello, M.D., a former Division I and semi-professional soccer player, Dr. Allison Ariniello understands the physical and emotional toll of injury from both sides of the treatment table. Her experience as a team physician for top collegiate and professional programs—including the University of Southern California (USC), Long Island University (LIU), and the LA Kings—has shaped her ability to guide patients through recovery with both precision and empathy. What began as a childhood curiosity about broken bones and injuries evolved into Dr. Ariniello’s passion for sports medicine.
Dr. Ariniello attended the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she participated in research and received the prestigious Charles S. Neer Award for her work studying rotator cuff injuries. She also received hands-on training while working at UCLA’s Mobile Clinic, caring for underserved patients and those without stable housing. She specializes in sports medicine and minimally invasive surgeries, including the arthroscopy of many joints such as the hip, knee, shoulder, ankle, and elbow.
Dr. Ariniello is dedicated to meeting her patients where they are and tailoring their treatment based on their individual goals. She believes every patient deserves a unique experience based on their lifestyle and collaborates closely with patients in decision-making to ensure they have ownership in their recovery process.
For Dr. Ariniello, working in sports medicine is about more than a fast and safe recovery—it’s about helping people get back to activities they love most. Whether a professional athlete or someone who simply wants their daily routine back, Dr. Ariniello offers compassionate, personalized care.
