Dr. Allen Greenlee’s passion for medicine stems from a young age. Having a father who was a psychiatrist inspired Dr. Greenlee to pursue a similar path in which he could help people. In 1982, Dr. Greenlee received his Medical Degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Services. Upon receiving his MD, Dr. Greenlee completed an internship and his residency in Primary Care/ Internal Medicine in 1985 from The George Washington University Medical Center.
From 1985 to 1991, Dr. Greenlee worked at the George Washington University Department of Health Services as both an attending physician for approximately 2,000 patients, as well as an assistant professor for third- and fourth-year medical students. Dr. Greenlee then continued to serve as a preceptor for primary care residents and from 1989 to 1991, where he also acted as the Director for the Division of Adult Medicine, supervising half the Departments practice and clinical budget. Additionally, he was appointed as the group leader in the Department’s Total Quality Improvement Program.
Presently, Dr. Greenlee works as an internist in private practice at Internal Medicine at Kaufman, Greenlee, Wheaton, and Beaton, P.C., where Dr. Greenlee worked both as a primary care physician and has managed the Medicare Patient-Centered Medical Home Program since 1992.
Moreover, Dr. Greenlee has worked as an Associate Professor and Volunteer Faculty for medical students in primary care clinical rotations and Longitudinal Primary Care Clinic at the George Washington University Medical Center since 1991.
In accordance with Dr. Greenlee’s innate desire to care for a spectrum of diverse health needs, he also enjoys an array of different hobbies in his spare time. His wide range of passions includes automotive work and antique car restoration, playing the piano, and enjoying his grandchildren.

A good doctor. He checked all of my conditions at that time. He gave me an advise to reduce my medicine.
I'm not one who automatically stands in see if doctors merely because they are doctors, but Dr Greenlee walks on water so far as p in concerned. He listens, he affords whatever time it takes and he knows what he's doing.

I have been seeing Dr Greenlee for years and really like him. But lately, he seems to be paying less attention to me and my health issues. Given what I am paying, that is unacceptable.
Always takes whatever time is needed to get to the bottom of problems. Great bedside manner.

I have been a patient of Dr Greenlee for more than 2 decades and in all respects he is terrific -- easy bed side manner, very accessible, even more so after he switched to a concierge practice as the type of questions that we used to call him on the phone about and then wait til the call back part of the day are now always answered within a short time of being sent. And the answers are concise and practical. Can't think of anything more that I could ask for/expect from a personal physician.
Dr. Greenlee is compassionate, kind, and a pan accomplished diagnostician. He is extremely knowledgeable and responsive.
He has always been excellent in a myriad ways. No change and I think I have been seeing him for soooooooooooo long and he has not changed. Bright, low key and good listener. Thank you.
