He attended medical school at The University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham and graduated in 2000. His first two years of surgical training were done in Birmingham at Carraway Methodist Medical Center. He completed his surgical training in Nashville at Vanderbilt University in 2005.

Dr. Foster is very nice and has a wonderful bedside manner. He is patient and will sit and listen to your concerns and address them. He performed my gallbladder removal and I am very satisfied!
