I chose ophthalmology because it gave me the ability to help patients both in the clinical and surgical settings. As a medical student, I had the opportunity to observe eye surgery and it gave me a better understanding of the anatomy of the eye, which I still find absolutely fascinating.
Now, as a practitioner, providing the highest quality of care for my patients is one of my best qualities, which requires patience, excellent surgical skill, and great communication skills. By collaborating together, I help patients understand what is happening with their eyes and give them the confidence of knowing they are in good hands for their eye care.
I especially enjoy being able to make a drastic difference in a patient’s quality of life by performing cataract and corneal surgery (for which I have sub-specialty training), and guiding them through the process before, during, and after.

Dr Kelly is awesome. I had a previous clinic that tried to refer me to a neuro opthalmologist for my eye issues. I went to Dr Kelly and it all got sorted out. She addressed my issues and concerns and I can see again, clearly.

Very easy to talk to and paid attention to my concerns. I liked her very much.
The front staff was completely void of customer service. Changed my appt time without telling me because I didn't wear my contacts. Waited for 30 min then 40 and no appt. Told to talk to contact front desk which is 1 steps away to be told the contact lens specialist is the only one who could help and she was on the phone. Waited 10 min while front desk gals chatted away. Left the office 50 min after my scheduled appt and got actually nothing accomplished. No temp.contacts no appt no communication and zero satisfaction
