I was "legally blind" due to cataracts. Dr. Kelly did a MAGNIFICENT JOB of removing the cataract on my left eye and replacing my lens! My vision is now 20/25 in my left eye! She will be doing surgery to remove the cataract on my right eye and replacing that lens soon. I am EXCITED to be able to see clearly again! No wonder Dr. Alla Kelly is rated as a "TOP DOCTOR" in Minnesota!

I had to leave and didn’t get to see her. I waited for 1 and 1/2 hours. I had another appointment to get to so had to leave. I feel that is way too long to wait and it is a pattern every time I see her.

I chose ophthalmology because it gave me the ability to help patients both in the clinical and surgical settings. As a medical student, I had the opportunity to observe eye surgery and it gave me a better understanding of the anatomy of the eye, which I still find absolutely fascinating.
Now, as a practitioner, providing the highest quality of care for my patients is one of my best qualities, which requires patience, excellent surgical skill, and great communication skills. By collaborating together, I help patients understand what is happening with their eyes and give them the confidence of knowing they are in good hands for their eye care.
I especially enjoy being able to make a drastic difference in a patient’s quality of life by performing cataract and corneal surgery (for which I have sub-specialty training), and guiding them through the process before, during, and after.
