Dr. Alison Himes, M.D., is board-certified by the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. She earned her medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, OH. She completed her residency in family practice at OhioHealth Doctors Hospital - Family Practice in Columbus, OH. She pursued additional training and completed her Dermatology residency at OhioHealth O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens.
She was trained in general, surgical, and pediatric dermatology. She has a passion for skin cancer detection and treatment while striving to provide compassionate, high-quality care for patients of all ages. Dr. Himes is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, and the Ohio Dermatology Association.

I just love her and trust her with my health concerns and tx. She listens to me and includes me in my tx plan. As an aging woman it is nice to have a doctor who really understands my changing body and new issues as they arise and does not minimize my concerns or ignores them.
As always, Dr. Himes and her staff are always welcoming, precise and matter of fact. Nice to have a doctor and staff who listens to you and treats you accordingly. Always a great experience!
