She didn't introduce herself. We didn't know she was a retina doctor. My mom is 94 years old and have several appointments. The fellow introduced as a fellow but didn't say anything about the specialty.

Dr. Alice Zhang attended McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada where she earned her doctorate in medicine. She completed her ophthalmology residency at McGill University and served as Chief Resident in Ophthalmology. She distinguished herself by winning academic achievements, surgical skills, research, and teaching awards. Dr. Zhang completed her retina fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University, which is consistently recognized as one of the top eye institutes in the nation.
Additionally, she organized free eye screening clinics with the McGill Lions Club chapter for many years. She is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Zhang is affiliated now with UNC-Chapel Hill.
Dr. Zhang is a pianist and she also enjoys Zumba, Latin dance, Irish step dance, travel and gastronomy.
She is fluent in English, French, and Chinese (Mandarin).
