One of the best bedside manners I have ever experienced. She listened, answered my questions, gave a very detailed exam, and scheduled for additional testing. I feel so blessed to have been referred to her by Dr. Travis W Dum with UAB Medicine Multispecialty Clinic in Montgomery.

Dr Pickering was friendly and happy making my visit very pleasant and put me at ease. I felt I could ask embarrassing questions. She answered my questions as well as added suggestions. She should have a 5 but she left the room so fast I didn’t get to say thank you. (Probably because she spent too much time with me, which I appreciate.)

Her focus of practice is in the field of urogynecology and pelvic floor reconstruction surgery. She offers specialty surgical and non-surgical treatment for women with pelvic floor issues including urinary incontinence or leakage, fecal incontinence, urinary tract infections, pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, trouble emptying the bladder or rectum, pelvic and bladder pain and fistulas.
A native of Lebanon, Ind., Dr. Parden earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. She completed medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, where she also completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology. She recently completed a three-year fellowship (additional specialty surgical training) in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. She has been practicing in Tupelo, MS for the past two years.
