Alfredo Paredes Jr., M.D.

Alfredo A. Paredes Jr., M.D. is a board-certified plastic surgeon at Tallahassee Plastic Surgery Clinic. Born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and raised in Dothan, AL, he has been serving the Tallahassee community since 2003. Dr. Paredes is dedicated to providing personalized care, focusing on both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures to enhance his patients' well-being and confidence.

Dr. Paredes attended Emory University on a merit scholarship, graduating first in his class with a degree in biology. He received the Emory Overall Excellence Award in 1992. As a Woodruff Scholar on full merit scholarship, he earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude and being inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his plastic surgery residency at Emory University, renowned for its innovations in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Paredes specializes in cosmetic surgery, including breast augmentation, body contouring (like tummy tuck and arm lift), and facial cosmetic procedures such as facelifts and eyelid lifts. He is extensively involved in breast reconstruction, with significant experience in silicone/ saline breast implants and reconstructive tissue flaps, routinely caring for breast cancer patients and those with a genetic predisposition to the disease. He also specializes in revision breast surgery, improving undesired results of past surgery. He is well known for his bedside manner and superb results with a safe surgical approach. He is also fluent in Spanish.
