Alexander Varzari, M.D., is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science and of Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, where he earned his Medical Degree. He next completed an internship at New Hanover Regional Medical Center before going on to do his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Dr. Varzari joined EmergeOrtho-Coastal Region in 2025 after completing a Pain Management Fellowship at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist where he trained in the medical management and full scope of interventional pain procedures.
While in his medical training, he was recognized for excellence in anesthesiology.
