Dr. Alex Robin is a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist and comprehensive ophthalmologist with expertise in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma as well as routine and complex cataract surgery.
Dr. Robin is originally from Chicago and attended medical school at Rush University and completed his ophthalmology residency at Cook County Hospital, where he was selected to serve as chief resident. He then completed his glaucoma fellowship at OHSU Casey Eye Institute and Legacy Devers Eye Institute here in Portland. Dr. Robin has published multiple book chapters in the field and presented his glaucoma research at national meetings.
During his free time, Dr. Robin enjoys running, skiing, cooking, and spending time with his wife and new daughter.
He did cataract surgery and did an excellent job. He is personable and open to questions. I appreciate that.
