Dr. Alexander Lubin, M.D., treats patients with all types of urologic conditions and has a primary focus on stone disease, serving as the Director of the Kidney Stone Center at Care New England. He also has a focus on overactive bladder specializing in the InterStim™ procedure, with other interests in prostate enlargement, vasectomy, and endosurgery. In his free time, Dr. Lubin enjoys hiking, traveling, playing tennis, golf, and skiing.
He grew up in Connecticut before leaving for college at the University of Virginia. There he received his bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and a minor in Economics. Following college, he received a master’s degree from Georgetown University in Biomedical Science Policy and Advocacy. He attended medical school at New York Medical College, and the University at Buffalo for his general surgery internship, urology residency, and Chief Resident positions.
