Dr. Iwamoto has an amazing bedside manner. This was our first time seeing him and he really put my teenage son at ease and explained everything he was going to do in detail. I really enjoyed his demeanor and his candor in discussing topics. Teenagers don’t normally want to talk about.

Great first visit! Dr Iwamoto was very attentive and made sure my 11 year old son felt included and involved in his visit. Instead of a Dr who is checking items off his list to make his way out the door and off to the next room, he really took his time to make his presence comfortable in the room. I appreciate the talent of good patient care!

Dr. Iwamoto is yet another excellent physician at CMG Atlanta. He was attentive, receptive, and most importantly identified an incidental issue separate from what our appointment was actually about. He addressed the immediate issue but also worked up the incidental finding. He approached the work-up strategically and was prompt with discussing the results with us. He answered my questions with honesty and forthrightness. What I think speaks volumes is that the incidental finding is potentially related to an issue I fear my son has had all along but our previous pediatricians were reluctant to address (nonetheless make a referral to a specialist) regardless of my concerns expressed. Based only on our two interactions, I can tell Dr. Iwamoto practices great medicine and I genuinely felt he took charge to do what’s best for my child’s health.
