He also served as an Associate Professor at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and College of Medicine. He has trained many fellows and residents who now practice around the country. He was also the founding Primary Investigator and continues to be instrumental in the development of the PARTNERship for Enhancing Research (PARTNER), a comprehensive data and biorepository platform to facilitate multi-institutional research collaborations.
