This was my first time meeting with Dr. Brothers. He explained that based on my x-ray, my knee replacement was fine and then explained what might be happening. After examining me, he wanted to do another x-ray to confirm. He listened to my issues and I felt very comfortable with the doctor as he explained what he thought it was and what was needed to help with it. I would highly recommend him to others!

I’ve received such excellent care from everyone at NEOS. DR. Brothers did great work surgically but I’ve also appreciated that he is a good communicator. He listens patiently and shares useful information.

Dr Brothers replaced my hip in early November. He is an artist!! No pain at all. I had a tooth filling a week before surgery and that was worse than my hip replacement. Don’t wait until you are in excruciating pain. And when you’re ready you have to call NEOS and request Dr. Brothers and Kiersten Revord.

Dr. Brothers has proved to be an excellent surgeon. My husbands knee replacement was perfect. Dr. Brothers is also very personable ....never makes you feel less than for asking many questions.

Well I only had one meeting with him so I have little to go on. He was delightful! But if you’re wanting to know how surgery was, I’m well away from that. I like the fact that he is using me as a guide, rather than guiding me in terms of if and when I have a hip replacement. As many people have said before me, the fact that Dr Brothers looks like his 16 years old is very funny! But he really is, in the half hour I saw him, seemingly excellent in knowing his info: I will get back to you when I seen him more often!

Dr. Brothers performed a total knee replacement on me when the knee was very painful and the leg was no longer straight; both issues were resolved with the surgery. During recovery, I experienced little to no pain. Dr. Brothers was warm, knowledgeable, explained everything well and completely. Most important, he gave me confidence. He did not push for a hip replacement and is letting me try injections and PT. But I realized later that that could only be a temporary solution. I have pretty much decided that when I see him again in June, I'll sign up for the hip replacement, for a permanent solution, reassured that he will do a first-rate minimally invasive job.

Truly phenomenal! Caring, really listens to concerns, and a great surgeon. Do all you can to have Doctor Brothers be your surgeon!

Dr. Brothers deserves very high praise for his surgical, communication and empathic skills. But, in my mind, one of the most important things he has done is surround himself with an equally competent and caring support staff. From his secretary and PA to the surgical staff, ortho ward staff, to Baystate home physical therapy and most importantly to the Birnie Ave physical therapists. I spent most of my life in the Boston area and felt the medical services there were superior. It is so nice to realize the same quality of care exists here in Springfield. And I know this thanks to Dr. Brothers and his team. We are lucky to have them.

With each appointment with Dr. Brothers I am always met with a smile. Dr. Brothers always has time for me, never rushing my appointment and he answers any and all questions I ask. I’ve been to many doctors before finding Dr. Brothers and I put my trust/ health in him wholeheartedly. I am going to need my left hip replaced soon and because Dr. Brothers was able to do a revision on my right hip and gave me my pain free life back, I will not hesitate to make my appointment for him to replace my left hip. I feel so confident with him as my surgeon that I have given his name to others. He is a doctor with caring heart and soul.

Dr. Brothers is a life changer, for me. He always gave me information in a way that I understood and answered any questions I had. Before surgery my quality of life was compromised and had to plan ahead as to what I was able to do . Now, six weeks since my revision, I am walking like I haven’t walked in seven years.... my quality of life is wonderful. I am able to live without compromise. Dr. Brothers is a wonderful surgeon. I have already given his name to friends who are having problems.

Dr. Brothers has a very nice “bedside manner” which is not always apparent with busy doctors today. He is very thorough, honest, and kind.
