Returning to his hometown with extensive expertise in retina care, Dr. Wright is devoted to improving and preserving the vision of his patients. He completed his medical degree at the University of Utah School of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society due to his academic excellence. His residency in ophthalmology was completed at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, receiving multiple resident research awards. Dr. Wright was personable, friendly and very knowledgeable. He quickly identified the problem with my eye and presented treatment options to me in a clear easy to understand manner.

Honest, informative, explained my condition, and options in ways that I could understand. I chose Dr Wright based on his
not much to go on bc he was in the room for like 🤏 long and I was there for roughly 2 hrs total - lets looks at your eyes (tray) LIGHT Giving eye Directions looking at them for a couple min and saying Coded terms (nobody is telling me anything) to the scribe. Leaned chair- bright light again. Okay all done. Your eyes are stretched(okay how?) you could wear more expensive than your current, kinda experimental contacts that I’m hesitantly recommending with a tone that says they definitely doesn’t work. Also your retina might detach at some point bc it has thin spots (why is it thin to begin with and how to I fix it) Be sure to reschedule in a year. - Room to improve -communicating the nature and reason for the tests. What the results are and what they mean in context. I basically was told I have 2 things wrong with my eye but not the cause or it’s treatment getting told to schedule an annual tells me nothing
