Dr Alex Ringeisen and his staff were excellent. Dr Alex thoroughly and clearly explained everything he was doing and why. And also the procedure required and why it was needed and in detail what to expect. I was so nervous but he made me feel comfortable and as relaxed as I could be.

He was very concerned about the spot on my eye, and will continue to watch this. He is easy to talk to and explains everything. I like the guy!!

Dr. Alex did a great job with my surgery and follow up. He really made a difference for me and I was impressed by him on many levels. My only suggestion is that Dr. Alex wait for his patient to stop talking before he leaves an exam room. I understand he's on a tight schedule but, I got cut off mid-sentence as the appt ended. It gave me the feeling I was just a number. Prior to that moment, everything was great. Thanks.

He saved me from eventual blindness. Very kind and friendly doctor. Highly recommended.

Dr Ringeisen recently changed to a different eye drop for the macular degeneration injections. This was a very wise decision in my opinion. My mother suffered greatly when she had to have her injections. So much so that she didn’t want to continue the treatment any longer. But now with the new eye drops, she is recovering quite comfortably. I am hopeful she will continue with the injections and prolong her vision.

Careful and thorough. review. Listens to patients questions. Spends time to discuss options for care.

Dr. Ringeisen is honest with me and let's me know what to expect on future procedures.

Dr. Ringeisen does not spend enough time on explaining "what to do after the shot and what to expect". I had to ask to get the answer and the response was not satisfactory. I'm planning to switch to a different provider. I even asked a technician, she responded "everything is explained in the handout given during your first visit". I did not think this is a professional response.

My wife and I thought he was very cavalier about my eye problem and surgery was no big deal even though blindness is a side-effect in 1% of cases. Maybe he is a good surgeon but he is not good at making patients feel better.

Dr. Ringeisen is thoughtful, professional, and very informative. I regularly get injections in my left eye, and he and his staff do all that they can to make the experience as pleasant as possible. I appreciate that he’s up-to-date on clinical trials, and that the Clinic is willing to go to bat for the patient to fight for coverage for specific treatments.

He takes his time yet wastes no time. I absolutely trust my sight to him!
