I have a severe phobia around eyes. Dr. Ringeisen is kind and sensitive to that, and treats my phobia as just as worth managing as my retinopathy. He has worked to make me feel safe and comfortable in an environment that stresses me out. He takes me seriously, listens, and helps me walk a balance that takes care of my vision without overwhelming me.

Very, very rushed to get us through the pictures and questions. Didn't seem to be any organization. Kinda winging it as they went along. My appointment was at 10:05 but didn't see the Dr. until 11:30.

"When it comes to patient care, my goal is to teach patients and their families about vitreoretinal disorders and to have each patient be actively involved in their treatment plan.
As a college student, I traveled to Mexico on a medical mission trip. I was impressed by the immediate impact that eye surgeons could provide to their patients. As a retinal surgeon, I have the privilege of treating the most complex and intellectually stimulating eye disorders."
