Upon arrival I presented my MRI disk from a month ago and xray interpretation from the months ago but was informed of needing another xray which cost an extra fee as it was done there. Meeting the doctor, he seemed ok. Bedside manner could've been better but wasn't the worst. I personally feel like he already had his mind set on the next steps whether I had any other complaints, symptoms or otherwise medical questions etc... I feel like he could have been a little more compassionate and open to listen to me and my family members who were present.

One of the best doctors I have had the pleasure to meet. Dr. Mierke took the time to discuss my problem in a very real world way thar both my wife and I could understand and by the time we departed, we all had a plan forward to follow.

Dr. Mierke is a good listener and I left his office feeling much better and I believe that the Physical Therepy he ordered will help me with my lower back pain!

Dr. Mierke was very knowledgeable providing us with information we did not know. He took his time and wasn’t in a hurry. He referred us to a doctor that he felt could help us with our problems.

Took time to explain my imaging but I found the way he discussed my weight to be very limiting and a bit condescending as he kept looking at my stomach. I get that discussing weight can be uncomfortable for the provider (imagine how uncomfortable it is to the patient!) but alternating his eyes between my stomach and my face was rather humiliating. I also didn't really appreciate being compared to his parent (I'm in my 40's dude) - and I'm not super sensitive about my age. Not a good fit for me on a Dr./Patient relationship level but I appreciated his medical feedback even if it I had to fight a lot of embarrassment through the appointment.
