While pursuing my graduate degree in Public Health at the University of Utah, I gained an appreciation for a comprehensive approach to patient care, focusing on addressing the physical, mental, and social aspects of health. This philosophy guided my medical education at the University of Utah and continued through my residency training at the University of Florida, where I was deeply honored to receive the Gold Humanism in Medicine Award, a recognition given to medical professionals who exemplify compassion, empathy, and dedication to the humanistic aspects of healthcare.

I’m Dr. Knudson and I am looking forward to working with you and your families!
My journey into medicine began during my undergraduate studies in Cello Performance at Boise State University. As a cellist and a mentor to young musicians, I gained a unique perspective on collaborating with children and their caregivers. I developed a passion for teamwork with the shared goal of improving young people’s quality of life through their connection to music. That same passion now drives my commitment to improving young lives through health education and high-quality medical care.

I am passionate about educating patients and caregivers so you can feel confident and empowered in managing your health and your family’s well-being. Through this collaboration, we can achieve our common goal of ensuring that children and adolescents receive the care they need to thrive. Additionally, I have a particular interest in pediatric endocrinology, including diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and pediatric obesity.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children. We love exploring the outdoors, traveling to new places, and sharing experiences together (especially anything Disney)! I’m also a fan of college and professional sports and enjoy playing the cello or listening to classical music. Some of my favorite teams include the Utah Jazz, the University of Utah sports teams, Real Salt Lake, and Manchester United.
So friendly and communicative. Love that he speaks Spanish too
He was very excellent with my child when he was very frustrated. He was very knowledgeable and definitely acts like he cares 100% recommended! Thank you very much for your pleasant experience!
So many great things about him. He’s so kind, knowledgeable and patient. Answers any and all questions and he was so sweet to my daughter with autism. Really took extra care of her.
