I’m Dr. Knudson and I am looking forward to working with you and your families!
My journey into medicine began during my undergraduate studies in Cello Performance at Boise State University. As a cellist and a mentor to young musicians, I gained a unique perspective on collaborating with children and their caregivers. I developed a passion for teamwork with the shared goal of improving young people’s quality of life through their connection to music. That same passion now drives my commitment to improving young lives through health education and high-quality medical care.

I am passionate about educating patients and caregivers so you can feel confident and empowered in managing your health and your family’s well-being. Through this collaboration, we can achieve our common goal of ensuring that children and adolescents receive the care they need to thrive. Additionally, I have a particular interest in pediatric endocrinology, including diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and pediatric obesity.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children. We love exploring the outdoors, traveling to new places, and sharing experiences together (especially anything Disney)! I’m also a fan of college and professional sports and enjoy playing the cello or listening to classical music. Some of my favorite teams include the Utah Jazz, the University of Utah sports teams, Real Salt Lake, and Manchester United.

Very good with kids and knowledgeable
Ver personable and took the time to talk with the kids and explain things thoroughly. Appreciate him asking them directly if they had questions or concerns about their health.
Great bedside manner.
Both of my kids enjoyed their visit. He listened to their concerns and respected what they had to say. He gave them guidance on lifestyle changes and things to start now to help them maintain a healthy lifestyle long term. My daughter had to get her 12-year-old vaccines and Dr Knudson explained what they were for and why she needed them. She really appreciated that he would take the time to explain it to her.
He did a great job getting silly my toddler and making him feel comfortable.
Excellent and very professional. He told us everything on what to expect and even warned us of unlikely things that could happen, which I appreciated.

We have loved going to Dr. Knudson. He obviously loves kids and enjoys his work. He is knowledgeable and has taken great care of our kids!
He was prompt, kind and to the point. He actually helped possibly solve an ongoing issue that we have been trying to solve for several years! I would 100% recommend him and his staff.
